This is a very disappointing news for the tourist bus lovers in the state. Tourist buses have the same color code as the private buses. Vehicle giants that were so bright with pictures and other graphics of heroes and heroines will no longer be the doves of peace.
The body of the bus must be white, with only ribbons of violet and metallic gold colors on the sides and graphics that can be used on the vehicle. This color code applies not only to tourist buses but also to all vehicles that run on contract carriage. In other words, it can affect vehicles like Force Travelers.
This is one of the reasons why many tour bus drivers have seen dangerous adventures during school and college excursions recently. The violet ribbon is placed 10 cm wide on the sides of the bus. This violet ribbon should be 1 cm high and 3 cm wide with a metallic gold ribbon.
The name of the vehicle must be inscribed on the front of the vehicle in plain white and not less than 12 inches in white. The name and information of the bus operator can be displayed in a square not exceeding 40 cm in the rear. The law is expected to come into effect from March 2020. All vehicles arriving for registration from March can only be registered if they meet these criteria.
Existing vehicles should not be deemed to have escaped. State Transport Commissioner R. Sreelekha and Road Safety Management IG Goguloth Laxman have issued directions and guidance regarding the new policy. The fan groups that have sprung up recently in the name of tourist buses in the state are actively involved in videos, pictures and promotion campaigns on social media. This is not to say that worship is wrong, but that there must be an end to the dangerous stunts that the wild are seeking in order to gain more promotion and more. As an automobile lover, I also don’t want to see one-color tourist buses. It is certain that bus lovers and owners will have strong protest against the law. We can expect any changes to the law
